Persons with presumed TB disease <\/strong><\/span>are first screened for symptoms<\/strong><\/span> like cough and fever for more than 2 weeks, blood stained sputum and weight-loss. <\/span><\/p>\n\t<\/li>\n\t

If found positive on screening<\/strong><\/span>, then the person with presumed TB are referred for testing<\/strong><\/span> to the nearest health facility.<\/span><\/p>\n\t<\/li>\n\t

If diagnosed with TB, then they are subsequently initiated on treatment<\/strong><\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n\t<\/li>\n\t
\n\t
The TB patients initiated on treatment are regularly monitored<\/strong><\/span> with the help of field staff or digital interventions like 99DOTS and MERM (Medication Event Reminder Monitor) technology. <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\t<\/li>\n\t
\n\t
