Approaches to TB Case Finding
Learning ObjectivesDiscuss what are the various approaches to case finding that are employed under NTEP to diagnose a case of TB at the earliest.
People who have been exposed to patients with infectious TB are known as TB contact persons; they constitute a key and vulnerable population for TB. Case finding investigation contributes to the early detection of TB cases, and results in identifying a significant number of additional patients.
